It lies between Annapurna I and Manaslu. it is a relatively simple climb that leads to Pisang Peak (6091m), the most popular trekking peak in the Annapurna region. Above the village, Pisang Peak rises as a slope in a uniform pattern to a snow and ice slope at its summit. Pisang peak was first climbed by a German expedition in 1955, and it has since become a very popular mountain.
Pisang peak climbing is considered an easy climbing peak, offering its climbers a fascinating journey through diverse ecosystems, cultures, and breathtaking landscapes, While this climb is considered to be among the easier ones in the Himalayan region, a fairly high level of fitness and health is still strongly recommended.
It is considered one of the natural climbing peaks among the trekking peaks in Nepal. The path ascends through sparse wood and pasture to reach the base camp from Pisang village to a Kharka (4,380m) which is the ideal place for setting up the base camp. High Camp is set up at (5,400m) climbing to a shoulder on the South-West Ridge.
The climb of Pisang Peak begins from Besisahar in the Marsyangdi River Valley. The path takes you through very distinct animals and plants and sees the rewarding outstanding peak of Mt. Manaslu, Annapurna, and Lamjung Himal.
The most significant Manaslu trek track meets at Dharapani while passing through Larkya La. The path from here demands a walk to Pisang Peak.
Eventually, the trek will take you to a place where you can see the entirety of the Annapurna Himalaya range. The trail then rises from the Manang valley to reach the top of the Thorung Pass at 5416m.
