We started to walk from Kande to Forrest Camp (7-8 h). The plan was to sleep in tent in... read more Forrest Camp, but our guide (Minh/best guide ever!!!) fixed a room in a tea-house when we came because of heavy rain. The day after we walked to High Camp (6h). The next morning we woke up early and started to walk to Muchapachare Base Camp to see the sunrise (3,5h). Can’t describe the feeling when we went to the top!! We walked back to High Camp the same day and ate breakfast before we started to walk down to Sidding (5h). And the day after we walked to Lombre and got picked up by a car and drove back to Pokhara.
We was a family of 5 people doing the trek and the guide was very helpful to make sure that each day was managable an interesting for everybody regardless of physical shape.
Besides the guide we had a team of 8 porters of sherpa, two kitchenboys and one cook. They were all super nice and the cook made sure that every meal was perfect.

He knows flora and fauna of the mountain, name and heights of each place, and tips for trekking also.
When I was sick with the mountain sickness he did everything he can do for me. When there was heavy snow in tilicho that nobody can find a way, he found the way based on his long profound experience.

I promised him that I will be with him again next time (maybe EBC), and I really will.

The office can also help arrange TIMS and ACAP permits, as well as bus tickets at a really competitive rate. Neema, the manager helped us plan a trekking itinerary that fit out time frame - we ended up doing a 12-day Annapurna Circuit trek.

We started our trek in Chamche and ended in Jomsom, and really enjoyed every day of the trek, as the scenery and villages we passed through were so different each day. The teahouses we stayed at along the way, which our porter-guide, Buddhi, recommended to us, were always comfortable, with hot showers, wifi, and good food. We really appreciated trekking with Buddhi - he encouraged us to go at our own pace and take breaks when we needed to, and he was very knowledgeable about the flora, fauna, and culture that we encountered along the way. I began to have some difficulty hiking at the high-altitude on the day that we crossed the Thorang-La Pass, and Buddhi offered to carry my own day-pack in addition to our larger backpack that he was already carrying. His extra help here made it much easier for me to make it over the pass, and I really appreciated it!! Overall, we had an unforgettable trek and are incredibly grateful for the service we received from Pokhara Mountain Tiger. I will definitely trek with them again if I return to Nepal.

The guesthouses were comfortable, with views and hot showers, and the food really tasty! Apart from that, Puran was funny and taught us a lot about nepali life. He was our singing guide and we had a blast! Pokhara mountain tiger took the whole day to prepare with us, thoroughly talk things through, so I would recomment them!
